Quarterly Patio Picnic Schedule: Crab Feast | Monday, December 2

Executive Chef Adam Timney brings winter’s most delicious catch to the table for our annual crab feast–the 4th and final patio picnic of 2019. Enjoy an evening on our cozy covered patio digging into tasty eats starring fresh-caught Dungeness crab.
Menu
  • Dungeness crab
  • Drawn butter and Old Bay remoulade
  • Herbed garlic bread
  • Kale Caesar salad, croutons and avocado dressing
  • Grilled broccolini, chile, lemon and grana padano
Perfectly Paired Pours:
Wine will be poured by Jim Malone, head winemaker at Terra Savia.

Jim Milone feels quite fortunate to have been making wine from Sanel Valley Vineyards for over 40 years. He is a fourth-generation Hopland Winegrower, following in the footsteps of his great grandfather, who emigrated from Italy as a young man and operated Hopland’s first winery until Prohibition. He grew up working in the family vineyards developing a love for the land that has only increased over time, and founded the first winery in Hopland after prohibition.
His goal in winemaking is to create wines that are true extensions of the grape, vineyard and terroir. Jim’s winemaking philosophy has developed over decades of producing a wide variety of wines from many different locations. His mantra: “Put more effort in the vineyard and minimize treatment in the cellar; winemaking starts when you lay down the first compost in the Fall and prune in Winter.” Every step of wine production, from pruning to bottling, is considered to minimize our impact on the environment and our products.

Quarterly Patio Picnic Schedule: Pig Roast | Tuesday, September 24

Join us in The Castro on Tuesday, September 24th, on our covered, outdoor patio.  Chef Adam will be serving up the ever-popular pig roast.  Full menu includes:

  • roasted whole local pig
  • roasted butternut squash, pomegranate sage & pumpkin seeds
  • warm farro, roasted fennel, carrots & parsley
  • endive salad, apple, walnuts & cider vinaigrette
  • warm apple cobbler, brown sugar oat crumb
Perfectly Paired Beer:

Standard Deviant is the partnering with Starbelly to serve.

Our ever-popular quarterly patio picnic series returns June 4th! Join us in The Castro on Tuesday, June 4th on our covered, outdoor patio to enjoy Chef Adam’s, annual BBQ Rib Patio Picnic:
  • BBQ country style pork ribs, brown sugar & chili rub
  • Double corn-corn bread
  • Celery slaw, green apples & walnuts
